TROOP 160 - Located in Burholme

We are the Boys of 160! BSA Troop 160 is a scout troop steeped in tradition and committed to the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America. 160 has been serving the youth and families of the Burholme community since 1924, when our first Scoutmaster, Cal Edwards, stepped up and started the legacy. 160 has a strong network of volunteer men and women, both active and alumni, who support the troop and strive to teach the boys the high standards of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Troop 160 is very proud to have had 81 boys work their way up through the ranks to become Eagle Scouts, the highest rank in scouting, since it all began 89 years ago. An additional attraction within our Troop is our Drum and Bugle Corps. We are one of only two here in the city of Philadelphia that has a Drum & Bugle Corp. Each Scout is a member. Troop 160 is known in the area and throughout Cradle of Liberty Council for our presentations on Memorial Day, Summer Camp Call-to-Colors, and Honorary/Recognition Dinners at Scout Headquarters. Troop 160 is chartered by Immanuel Lutheran Church 1015 Cottman Ave,Phila. PA 19111 Troop meetings are held every Monday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the church.
